Wild Swimming and Sauna

The restaurant is closed for the winter, however Wild swimming at the lake and the sauna are open as normal Friday-Sunday.

Whilst you are at the farm you will also be able to see our forest-gardens where we grow our beetroot for our ketchup, with thousands of trees that we have planted.

  • No need to book ahead. Our swimming lake, rowing boat and farmtivities are open to all our customers during our opening times. Wild swimming and rowing is at your own risk.

  • We have free onsite parking. Please only use our car park and be respectful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving Higher Farm.

  • Yes! We have ‘farmtivities’ for the little ones, lots to explore and can do half portions in the restaurant.

    We are a working farm with animals, vehicles and machinery. Children must supervised at all times and are not allowed to climb on our tractors.

  • Yes, we welcome dogs at the farm and in the restaurant. Please ensure you clean up after them and keep them on a lead, we have geese, ducks, pigs, horses, goats and other animals.

  • Yes, we have two en-suite Nature Cabins. Please book them in advance here.

    We do not allow campervans or camping overnight.
